MISSION
Sacred Heart Hybrid Academy is a new innovative option for Catholic homeschooling families in the South Carolina Upstate. We combine many of the best features of in-classroom education with the flexibility and parental control of homeschooling. Our goal is to provide a rich liberal arts education in a flourishing Catholic environment for kindergarten through 12th grade students, in partnership with their parents. We strive to create a nurturing atmosphere where curiosity and delight are encouraged, virtue and a life-long love of learning are fostered. We aim to assist parents in not merely meeting state academic requirements, but achieving academic excellence in pursuit of Truth, Beauty and Goodness.
VISION
Our vision is to be a lifelong partner for Catholic homeschooling families in South Carolina’s Upstate, providing a supportive network and a rigorous liberal arts education. Through timeless great books, pen-and-paper learning, and faith-centered guidance, we aim to inspire critical thinking, foster spiritual growth, and lighten the burden on parents. By uniting families across parishes, we envision cultivating a vibrant Catholic community while preparing students with the tools and virtues to shape their futures. We aspire to grow, expanding into physical spaces that serve both education and Catholic events, creating a lasting legacy of faith, friendship, and excellence.
